The imagery of the logo is separated into 4 parts.
- To be Thai- the waving lines are reminiscent of Thai gables, Thai painting and gold scroll work. This has been modernized to represent the modern Thailand by being collected together like the flame in a factory and stands for prosperity, progress and productivity.
- The bottom section shows a gear, and represents industry.
- The inner section is a circle with the figure of Vishnu, and it represents the department protecting and caring about safety in factories. It also stands for promotion and development of industry in Thailand, in order to thrive and be able to compete with other countries.
- The color scheme comes from the Thai national flag, and stands for Thailand’s industries being stable and thriving. It also represents the promotion of Thai prosperity.
